The AI CV Manager is designed to be flexible. Whether you have an existing resume or are starting from zero, the platform guides you through a cycle of Creating, Refining, and Reviewing.
Here is how to navigate the workflow.
Step 1: Initialize Your CV
To begin, navigate to the CV tab in your dashboard and select how you would like to get started. You have two options:
Option A: Upload (Recommended)
Best if you already have a PDF version of your CV.
Select Upload.
Choose your file and click Submit.
AI Parsing: The system will scan your document and automatically populate your profile fields. (The AI is smart but it might make mistakes. So make sure you check and update the auto-populated content).
Click Confirm to submit the CV for AI review and feedback.
Option B: Create from Scratch
Best if you do not have a current resume.
Select Create New.
You will be taken to a blank editor where you can manually enter your education, experience, and skills.
Step 2: Refine with AI Assistance
Once your data is in the editor (either parsed or manually typed), you can use our AI writing tool to polish your writing.
Look for the AI Suggestion button next to key sections like Summary or Work Experience. The AI Suggestion button should show up when you are typing or editing the work experiences or personal summary section.
Generate: Click the button to have the AI analyze your profile and propose a professional description.
Review: The AI will suggest content optimized for impact (using the "What, How, Result" methodology).
Apply:
Click Replace to overwrite your current text with the AI version.
Click Clear to discard the suggestion.
Step 3: Get Your AI Review
After you have filled in your details and refined your content:
Click Save Changes. This triggers the AI evaluation engine.
Open the AI CV Review panel on the right side of the screen.
Review your Overall Grade (e.g., B+, A-).
The review breaks your score down into 6 categories, such as "Relevancy to job family," "Concise Language," and "Result-oriented formatting."
Step 4: Edit, Improve, and Download
The process doesn't end with the first review. Use the feedback loop to perfect your application:
Identify Weaknesses: Look for categories marked "Needs Improvement" (Red tags) in the review panel.
Edit: Go back to the editor and adjust your content based on the AI's advice.
Re-score: Save your changes to update your grade.
Download: Once you are satisfied with your content and score, click the Download icon to export your CV as a professional PDF.
