Once you have saved your CV in the AI Manager, our system acts like a career coach, scanning your profile to identify strengths and weaknesses. The AI CV Review panel provides a detailed breakdown of your performance.
Here is how to interpret the report and improve your score.
1. The Overall Grade & Strategic Feedback
At the top of the review panel, you will see a letter grade (e.g., B+, A) and a circle chart. This gives you a quick snapshot of your CV's quality relative to industry standards.
Below the grade is a Strategic Summary. unlike a simple spellchecker, this section analyzes your career trajectory.
What it tells you: It highlights your perceived seniority (e.g., "clearly positions you as a software engineer") and identifies gaps in your skill set.
Actionable Advice: It often suggests specific technologies or soft skills you should acquire to reach the next level (e.g., "consider focusing on cloud platforms like AWS" or "seek projects that allow you to lead").
2. The 6 Scoring Categories
To help you fix specific issues, the AI breaks your score down into six distinct categories. Each category is rated on a three-tier scale:
Excellent (Green): Your content is top-tier and follows best practices.
Good (Yellow): You are on the right track and the content is acceptable, but there is still room for optimization to make it truly stand out.
Needs Improvement (Red): There are critical gaps or formatting issues that might hurt your chances with recruiters.
Relevancy to the Job Family
What it checks: Does your content match your target role?
How to improve: Ensure you are using industry-standard keywords. For example, if you are a "Project Manager," ensure your CV uses terms like "Agile," "Stakeholder Management," or "Budgeting."
Suitable Depth of Description
What it checks: Are your bullet points detailed enough?
How to improve: Avoid one-word descriptions. Instead of saying "Did Java coding," explain the context of the work and the complexity of the systems you built.
Followed "What, How, and Results" Format
What it checks: This is the most critical factor for a high score. Are you listing impact or just duties?
How to improve: Use the AI Suggestion tool in the editor to rewrite your bullet points.
Bad: "Managed a team."
Good: "Managed a team of 5 (What) using Agile methodologies (How), resulting in a 20% increase in productivity (Result)."
Education & Qualification Coverage
What it checks: Is your academic history complete and formatted correctly?
How to improve: Ensure you have included your Degree, University, and Graduation Year. If you have certifications (PMP, AWS), make sure they are listed in a relevant section.
Concise and Precise Language
What it checks: Is your CV easy to read?
How to improve: Use active verbs (e.g., "Spearheaded," "Developed") and avoid fluff, slang, or overly complex sentence structures.
Not Including Excess Personal Information
What it checks: Does your CV contain data that might lead to bias or is irrelevant for the job?
How to improve: In modern global standards, you should generally exclude photos, marital status, religion, exact street addresses, or date of birth unless specifically requested by the employer.
