Create Forum Posts and Support Ticket

Effective communication starts with how you structure your contributions. Follow these steps to engage with the community.

Create a New Post in Public

Click the "New Post" button (usually located at the top right of the Forum page).

  1. Craft a Title: Make it specific (e.g., "Issue with React UseEffect Hook in Lab 3" instead of just "React help").

  2. Write the Body: Be clear and concise. Use the formatting tools to bold text or add code blocks if necessary.

  3. Add Relevant Tags: Select tags whether the post belongs in a general community area.

Click the class under MY CLASS FORUM, then click New Post to add a new post

Request Support

If you encounter a technical issue with the platform (e.g., a video not loading) or have an administrative query (e.g., certificate issues). Simply tick the Support box in

  1. Create a new post specifically in MY CLASS FORUM.

  2. Tick the Support box at the bottom of the post.

    Note: General learning questions should go in the "Posts" section; the "Support" section is strictly for technical or administrative assistance from staff.

Difference Between Posts and Support Tickets

  • Forum Post (Learning): Used for questions about course content, coding logic, or career advice. These are usually answered by peers or instructors.

  • Support Ticket (Administrative/Technical): Used for platform bugs, login issues, billing questions, or certificate problems. These are handled directly by the TalentLabs support team.
